Lolo is a sock pattern made for Epic Sock by Harada Wool, which is a blend of Cormo wool and mohair. Socks are featuring cables, horizontal braids, ribbing, and an afterthought heel. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. Video tutorial links are included.

YARN
HARADA WOOL epic sock 2020 (380 m per 100g, 90% Cormo wool, 10% mohair), 1 skein, shown in baby fox

OR approx. 60-80 g of heavy fingering weight yarn:
Note: The amount of yarn used will vary depending on the length of the leg and foot.

SIZES
Size 1 (2, 3)
Finished foot circumference: 19 (20.5, 21.5) cm / 7½ (8¼, 8¾)”
Recommended fit: approx. 3-4 cm / 1¼-1¾“ of negative ease, in foot circumference.

Foot and leg length: adjustable
Samples are shown in size 1 with 3.5 cm / 1½“ of negative ease

GAUGE
28.5 sts & 42 rnds = 10 cm/4” in stockinette st with size B needle
32 sts & 42 rnds = 10 cm/4” in Chart with size B needle
29 sts & 42 rnds = 10 cm/4” in 3×1 ribbing with size B needle
Note: If you want to use an average fingering weight yarn, the recommended gauge is 32 sts in stockinette st. In this case, the foot circumference will be approx. 2 cm/¾“ smaller than stated.

NEEDLES
Size A: US 0 / 2.0 mm, one size smaller than size B
Size B: US 1 / 2.25 mm, main needle
Size C: US 1½ / 2.5 mm, one size larger than size B

Note: Adjust needle size to obtain gauge. Sample used 80 cm / 32“ circular needle.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, waste yarn, stitch marker (optional), spare needle in Size B (over 15 cm).

コルモウールにモヘアがブレンドされた, 羊のもこもこ感がたのしい原田ウール・epic sockを使って, ケーブルとリブ, 横向きのステッチを組み合わせた靴下を作りました. 靴下は履き口から編みはじめ, かかとは後から編み足す方法 (afterthought heel) で作ります. 編み方は輪針のマジックループ式に合わせて説明されています.

ノート: 非防縮ウールを使用する場合は, ゲージスワッチの水通しを推奨します. 平均的な中細糸 (fingering weight)を使用する場合のゲージは, メリヤス編みで32目程度がおすすめです. その場合, 足囲の出来上がりサイズは記載より約2cmほど小さくなります.
