What’s this: This is the l’Oiseau Rose shawl/shawlette. It was designed for the 1st box from Tricotine et cie.

Why should I make this: This shawl/shawlette is easy but doesn’t look it, and can be made as small or as big as you like.

When will this get the most use: Whenever you need an all-day hug!

Who is it for: Just about anyone!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Beginner - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches. You will need at least 100g of fingering weight yarn (used here, Leizu Fingering by Julie Asselin & a 3.5mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.

Je commence où? Modèle Facile – vous devez être confortable avec les mailles de base (ou avoir envie d’apprendre le crochet. Vous aurez besoin d’au moins 100g de laine de poids ‘fingering’ (ici, Leizu Fingering de Julie Asselin) & d’un crochet 3.5 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
