The first file is 3 pages worth of lace knitting basic instructions. I cover basic lace stitches (with links to videos), reading a chart, and more.

The second file is the shawl instructions. This design is intended as a beginner-appropriate lace shawl pattern. As such, the instructions include lots of narrative to help you learn lace concepts.
