The two versions of this shawl were originally designed to accompany The Fiber Seed’s 2019 Advent Calendar and 8 Days of Hanukkah mystery Box Sets. Each night a new color would be revealed and could be added to the pattern. I’m offering the two patterns together here because they are similar in design, but they have distinct outcomes. The Advent version (pictured left) has 24 different colors, each used only once. The 8 Days version (pictured right) has repeated color sections in larger blocks which create symmetry and balance.
