Locomotive Socks
You’ll love how stretchy and squishy these slipper socks are. I’ve been dreaming of creating a crochet sock pattern that is not stiff or uncomfortable at all and here it is, but be warned, they are highly addictive to make ;)
These socks are a multi-color, ankle-high pattern. The pattern appears to be an intarsia colorwork but it’s actually a combination of alternating rows and stitches. Though they look great in one color too!
Sizes: (exact measurements are included in the pattern)
0-6 months 210m / 230yd
12-24months 210m / 230yd
3-5 jaar 210m / 460yd
6-10 jaar 420m / 460yd
Small 420m / 460yd
Medium 420m / 460yd
You can use any kind of sock yarn 50g/210m or 100g/420m but be sure to check your gauge for a good fit. I used Scheepjes Metropolis for the examples.
Skill level: advanced beginner.
(post stitches are explained in the pattern, video included!)
