Lluna Shawlette
Lluna means Moon in Catalan. It seemed a fitting name for this crescent shaped shawlette. It starts by just casting on four stitches and working a garter tab. The body is made with simple sections of garter stitch and stockinette stitch eyelets. Finally, a knitted on edge adds a fun and stylish border detail.
It is a great project for that special skein of fingering weight yarn you have been saving. Or maybe even use left overs, change colors for each section or do a contrasting border.
If you prefer bigger shawls, just follow the instructions with a DK or worsted yarn. You will need about 50% more yards than with fingering.
