Originally designed for Book Week, this fun project will delight children (and adults) at any time during the colder months when you need something cosy to rug up in!

The basic beanie is dressed up with the addition of crocheted ears, nose, muzzle and eyes which are hand-stitched on. An embroidered mouth and stitched-on lengths of yarn for eyelashes and forelock finish the look. Unstretched, the beanie measures 48cm in circumference, but it will stretch to fit a larger head.

One ball of the main colour, with a smaller amount of the second colour is all that is required to complete this hat.
