Lanivendole A chic blend (60% Abruzzese wool, 20% alpaca, 20% mohair - 225 m / 246 yards per 50 g) color Nautilus.
6 (6, 7, 8, 8) (9, 9, 9, 9) skeins or approximately 1310 (1350, 1520, 1610, 1730) (1820, 1890, 1995, 2025) m / 1430 (1475, 1660, 1765, 1890) (1990, 2065, 2185, 2215) yards of fingering weight yarn

NEEDLES
Circular needles, 60 cm / 24” or longer - Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
4 mm / US 6 for Body & Sleeves
3.75 mm / US 5 for hem
3.25 mm / US 3 for cuffs

GAUGE
After blocking
23 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Star stitch 1 with 4 mm / US 6 needle

NOTIONS
Stitch markers (6), tapestry needle, safety pins or removable markers, spare circular needles (4 mm / US 6)

NOTE
Little yan cardigan starts from the middle back and is worked down to the underarm. Then, stitches are
picked up along the cast-on edge of the back for each front, and they are separately worked up toward the shoulders, then down to the underarm. Then, the front and back are joined and worked flat down to the hem in one piece. Sleeves stitches are picked up around the arm opening and worked in the round to the cuff. Although they look similar at first glance, the star stitch patterns on the sleeves and body are slightly different. Please refer to the stitch guide below.
The pattern title ‘Little yan’ comes from the name of my friend’s girl. ‘Yan’ means star in Chinese and gave me the idea of this star-like stitch.

NOTE
Little yan cardigan は, 背中の肩下から編み始め, 脇下まで編みます. 各前身頃はそれぞれ後ろ身頃の作り目から拾い
目をし, 肩に向かって編み上げ, 次に脇下に向かって編みます. その後後ろ身頃と, 前身頃をつなぎ, 裾まで編みます. 袖は袖口から目を拾い, カフスまで輪で編みます.
身頃と袖のStar stichは少し違うので, ステッチガイドを参照してください.

其他
Little yan cardigan 從後背中間開始編織，往下至腋下，接著從後背起針處挑針，往肩膀方向，分別編織左右前片至腋下，連接前、後片並往下平織至衣襬。袖子則從袖洞挑針後，圈織至袖口。請注意，身體與袖子部分的星紋乍看很相似，但織法略有不同，請詳閱以下星紋針法說明。
這件作品的名稱 ‘Little yan’ 來自朋友女兒的名字- 星辰之意，也因此給了我設計星紋的靈感。
