There is a small erratum in the original version of this pattern, in the beginning of the heel flap the instruction reads to:
Sl 1 P-wise, K1, repeat from * to end
An * is missing at the beginning of this line, so it should read
* Sl 1 P-wise, K1, repeat from * to end
