Here is a tropical little knit. Use your pineapple as a keyring or bag charm, or as toy food for playtime. Each uses only a small amount of yarn so this makes a super stash-busting project. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the pineapple is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, beads and felt fabric scraps for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 11cm tall including leaves.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and a little seaming to finish.
