About the pattern:
Little Lonely Leftovers Vest is a simple kids vest in garter stitch with a rounded bottom edge. First you make the back yoke, from which you then pick up and knit sts to make a contrasting i-cord. From the i-cord you then pick up and knit sts for the back, which is shaped with increases along both sides to make the armholes.

After that you pick up and knit sts along the opposite side of the back yoke to make the front shoulders, which are worked separately and shaped with increases to form the neckline and the armholes. Then you join the front pieces with the back by casting on sts for the armholes. The body is then worked back and forth before it’s finished off with a rounded edge at the bottom. Lastly you make the i-cord edges all along the outer borders of the vest, as well as the ties in the front.

Beskrivning:
Little Lonely Leftovers Vest är en enkel, rätstickad barnväst med rundad nederkant. Först stickas det horisontella bärstycket, och längs ena långsidan av bärstycket görs en kontrasterande i-cord. Från i-corden plockas det sedan upp maskor för bakstycket. Bakstycket formas med ökningar längs båda sidor för att forma ärmhålen.

Därefter plockas det upp maskor längs motsatt sida av bärstycket för axlarna mot framstycket. Respektive framstycke stickas var för sig, och det görs ökningar för att forma halsringning och ärmhål.
Sedan sätts framstycke och bakstycke samman genom att det läggs upp maskor för ärmhålen. Bålen stickas fram och tillbaka innan nederkanten formas med minskningar mot mitt fram. Avslutningsvis görs de kontrasterande i-cord kanterna längs samtliga ytterkanter på västen, samt knytbanden mot mitt fram.
