MATERIAL:

THE MERRY MERINO 70 GOTS by Kremke, 100% wool, 70m / 50g.

NEEDLES:

Circular needles and dpns (or magic loop for the leaf) US10 (6 mm), or needle size required to obtain the required gauge.

GAUGE:

16 sts x 24 Rhs in stockinette stitch, for 4 x 4 inch (10 x 10 cm), gauge swatch washed.

TECHNIQUES:

Throw: Seed stitch pattern, kfb increases, decreases p2tog, Leaf: I-cord.

MEASUREMENTS:

Our sample blanket measures approximately 80 x 80 cm (about 31½ x 31½ inches).

YARDAGE:

For our sample throw, we used approximately 660 m (9 ½ balls of 50 g) — that’s about 720 yards.
