Needles: #7 needles, whatever kind you prefer to
knit small items in the round.

Yarn: Small amount of soft, worsted-weight yarn.
I used handspun. Encore worsted by Plymouth
yarn is machine-washable, soft, and comes in a
ton of different colors. 1 ball would be way more
than enough for this hat.

Gauge: 4.5 stitches per inch

Size: about 12.5 inches, or newborn, but babies
vary.
