This little top-down seamless sweater fits babies and kids from 6 months to 12 years. It incorporates a simple colorwork flower motif and has increases staggered down the sides to emphasize its slight A-line shape. Use larger needles on the hem ribbing to keep it swingy and sweet.

Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rds per 4” in stockinette stitch on size 4.0mm/US 6 needles

Sizing: To fit actual chest measurement of 17” (18”, 21”, 23”) 24”, 26”, 28”, 30”; 43cm (46cm, 53cm, 58cm) 61cm, 66cm, 71cm, 76cm corresponding to 6 months (12 months, 2 years, 4 years) 6 years, 8 years, 10 years, 12 years.

Finished garment has approximately 3” (7.5cm) of positive ease in chest. Please choose size based on child’s actual chest measurement.

Yarn: Worsted-weight yarn in two colors: 280 (330, 490, 520) 600, 660, 750, 900 yards; 256 (302, 448, 476) 549, 604, 686, 823 meters of MC and 30 (30, 30, 30) 40, 40, 40, 40 yards; 27 (27, 27, 27) 37, 37, 37, 37 meters of CC

Needles:

Size 3.75mm/U.S. size 5 needles for working a small circumference in the round: DPNs, 1 long circular, or 2 short circulars (for neck and cuff ribbing)

Size 4.0mm/U.S. size 6 needles for small circumferences in the round: DPNs, 1 long circular, or 2 short circulars (for neck, yoke, and sleeves)

Size 4.0mm/U.S. size 6 needles (for working body circumference in the round in length equal to or shorter than chest circumference for your intended size)

Size 4.5mm/U.S. size 7 needles (for working bottom ribbing in the round in length equal to or shorter than chest circumference for your intended size)

Notions: Yarn needle for finishing, 1 BOR stitch marker, 2 side stitch markers, waste yarn for holding sleeve stitches
