The finished hat will measure about 13” and will comfortably stretch to 15”. This would make a great gift for a new baby.

To make this hat nice and flat it is knitted in the round. If you have never knitted on double pointed needles don’t be afraid. It is not as difficult as you think since you are working with thick needles.

You can also use this pattern if you don’t want to have the eyelash yarn around the bottom of the hat.

Materials: 1 set (= 4 needles) of double pointed needles size US 8, Yarn: Aran Weight yarn,tapestry needle,scissors and some cardboard for the pompom.
