This baby cocoon is written as preemie size with instructions on how to increase the size to suit. Just like adults, babies come in all sizes so this pattern allows you to accommodate that. Originally released as part of the Preemie Crochet Challenge 2022, this pattern works up quickly and is a fun one to make.

The little dots baby cocoon is perfect for gifting at baby showers or donating to local NICU’s or charities. It is a great unisex pattern that will looks fantastic in all sorts of colour ways as well as in a simple single colour (like my versions)

My patterns all share the same layout which is easy to read and easy to find important information you need, such as materials needed, sizing information, gauge information, and special stitches used as well as how to do them. ❤ SIZE of my baby cocoon:

My cocoon was approx 9” wide by 11.5” tall.

❤ MATERIALS:

You can use any 4 weight yarn that is suitable for babies. I would not recommend using a yarn with wool content in it because of allergies and sensitivity.
