These little birds are cute toys or Valentine tokens that fit in the palm of your hand. Make one to keep and one (or more) to give!

Any fingering/sport/4 or 5ply/weight 2 yarn (especially cotton or cotton blend) will be appropriate for this pattern. A smaller hook than is usually recommended is required to make these little critters.

You will need a stitch marker, a small amount of stuffing, some embroidery floss to stitch the eyes, a yarn needle and, of course, scissors.
