After a request for an acorn hat for some friends’ Newborn was put to me, I couldn’t resist designing this in my favourite, warmest, winter-friendly wool. If you’d like this hat to be more multi-seasonal, perhaps work- ing it in a cotton or a bamboo blend might take your fancy. But there’s something so iconic about acorns, and warmth via the squirrelling away process that makes me think the cosier and woolier the better! ^_^

Pattern is for Worsted/Aran weight yarn.
