I was inspired to create the Lisbon Beanie after a trip to Portugal left me awestruck by all the gorgeous tilework covering the buildings that line the city’s cobblestone streets. Even a simple design on a small tile square became mesmerizingly beautiful when I took a step back and looked at the pattern created by hundreds of those tiles placed together. Using easy-to-memorize 4-stitch colorwork repeats, the Lisbon Beanie mimics that idea of transforming something small into sooooo much more when knit into a bigger-picture pattern. This design offers two brim options and endless color combos—let your sense of adventure be your guide!
