This is a super cute pattern! It includes clear instructions for making the lion’s mane.

The pattern calls for three 100 gram balls of super bulky yarn in one color (for the lion) and another 100 gram ball in any color for the lining. If you’re making the adult size, though, I would go ahead and get an extra ball or two of yarn, just to be safe (as this goes from a small to larger size).
