Linen Stitch Cowl
by Kim Conterio
We love how linen stitch brings out the beauty of variegated yarns; how it can both soften and enhance the color patterns made by self-striping yarns; and how the resulting fabric is so friendly to wear. We’ve worked up this cowl in self-striping Berroco Souffle, Debbie Bliss Riva, and Berroco’s Ultra Alpaca Tonal doubled. This stitch magically blends unlikely colors, so if you have a yarn whose variegation makes you a little nervous, try this -- or even better- try it double stranded. Gorgeous!
