Linen Rib Tank
This tank features 2x2 rib that gives way through decreases to a neckline insert with cables and a plunging back neckline. Organic linen gives the versatile tank a light, cool feel that may be dressed up or down as desired.
Designer Jen Hagan
Finished Size 33¾ (37, 40½, 43¾, 47¼, 50½)“ bust circumference. Tank shown measures 33¾”, modeled with ¼ “ of negative ease.
Yarn Quince & Co. Kestrel (100% organic linen; 76 yd 70 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #501 sand, 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) skeins.
Needles Size 8 (5 mm): 16” and 24” circulars (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 19 sts and 22 rnds = 4” in k2, p2 rib, slightly stretched.
