This coffee cosy is worked flat in linen stitch, creating a beautiful woven effect that is deceptively simple to achieve. The cosy wraps around the entire jug, buttoning closed to make sure no heat can escape your coffee.

This cosy will fit a standard 1 Litre french press.

I have deliberately gone up a needle size for this weight of yarn as linen stitch works up fairly tightly, and I wanted a softer fabric in the finished object. It doesn’t hurt that it makes for faster knitting too!
