This rectangular minimalist design incorporates Stockinette Stitch, eyelets to form lines (thus its name), and Garter Stitch on the edges, in a simple yet elegant pattern. The name Linearity is also a metaphor for the lines or paths that intersect in life: sometimes we follow them, sometimes we cross them, but sometimes we just watch them.

The pattern is worked flat from the short end, and would be great for a beginner lace knitter. It includes several Eyelet Motifs distributed in five sections, with charts and line-by-line instructions provided.
