Lillebror
Lillebror hoodie is worked from bottom to top in one
piece to the armholes.
The sleeves are worked in the round and are joined
afterwards with the body. The yoke is worked with
raglan decreases, and finished with short rows which
shape the rounded neck.
To finish, a hood is made which can be either crocheted
or sewn together.
Inspiration:
Just like the Storebror design, the inspiration for Lillebror comes from author and artist Dea Trier Mørch, who in the 1970s fought for equality in the family and in relationships.
Dea Trier Mørch is perhaps best known for her contemporary novel “Winter’s Child” from the 1970s, which she illustrated herself with her fine linocuts.
Dea Trier Mørch’s art lives on as a source of inspiration and reflection on equality and women’s rights.
Her works are a testament to how art can be used as a tool for social change and to express solidarity and humanity.
