I already had three different store-bought baby blankets but something was still missing. Nothing warms better than a handmade blanket. I designed and knitted this one for my sweet little daughter Lilla Gréta.

The blanket you can see in the pictures is from a worsted weight yarn, Rowan Handknit Cotton. Would you rather use some different yarn? No problem. The pattern is written for 4 yarn weights, there are 4 sizes in each yarn. Still can’t find the ideal size among the ones in the pattern? The size of the blanket is easily adjustable (instructions included).

Construction
This blanket starts in the middle with a provisional cast-on. We will work one half of the blanket first, then undo the provisional cast-on and work the second half in the opposite direction. Photo tutorials included.
