Lilias Day

A yoke pullover, with a Selbu garland motif. Lilias Day is a festival celebrated in Kilbarchan, in Scotland, in which the village’s arched bridges are traditionally decorated with floral garlands.

22 sts and 30 rounds to 10cm / 4in over colourwork pattern and stockinette in the round using gauge-size needle. If your gauge tends to tighten when working small circumferences or colourwork, you may need to go up a needle size for sleeves and yoke. Use 4mm needle as a starting point for swatching.

Pattern notes
This circular yoke pullover is knitted from the bottom up, all in one piece. The body is made first, followed by the sleeves, before joining together and working the colourwork yoke from a chart, which is read from right to left throughout.
