Here is another of Bethany’s Booties! These sporty cuties are Loom Knit on a Fine Gauge Round Loom with at least 40 pegs.
Included is an alternate pattern for the Knifty Knitter looms (the lower picture is of the Knifty Knitter version).
notes: If you have a loom of a different gauge, just complete a sample swatch and adjust the number of pegs/rows accordingly(instructions are included in the pattern): the booties above were knit with a gauge of 11 sts per every 2”.
Also, this project requires the use of either a round, or the corner of an adjustable loom, to allow for stitches to be moved to different pegs without over stretching them.
These booties were created with Worsted Weight #4 yarn.
The samples use Cotton Ease by Lion Brand, in various colors.
note: feel free to substitute a yarn of a different weight if you need, in order to achieve the proper gauge.
You will also need a yarn needle, 3 stitch markers & 5.5 mm Crochet Hook and a Stitch Holder or Cable Needle
(must be long enough to hold 10 stitches securely).
These can be knit up in a variety of colors…I can’t wait to see what yours look like! :)
