Lil Giddy-Up the Horse
Meet Lil Giddy-Up, a pint-sized pony with just as much personality as his full-sized sibling Giddy-Up in a much smaller package.
Lil Giddy-up is an advanced beginner-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, color changes, attaching fringe for hair, embroidering eyes using yarn, and some seaming.
Lil Giddy-Up can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.
My Lil Giddy-Up is made in I Love This Yarn! Solids using three colors and bit of scrap yarn for the nose.
- MC- Greybeard (30 yards)
- CC1- Black (15 yards)
- CC2- Light Gray (10 yds)
- CC3- Hot Rose (less than 1 yard)
You only need a little bit of each color-- perfect for a little stash-busting!
The pattern has plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making an adorable miniature horse.
