Inspired by the songs of Schubert, these mittens are a cabled variation on classic mitered mittens.

These mittens are approximately 7” (18 cm) in circumference and 10” (25.5 cm) in length at the given gauge. To knit additional sizes, please adjust needle size or yarn weight.

The pattern assumes familiarity with knitting in the round, increases and decreases, knitting cables, and picking up stitches. There is an afterthought thumb. The pattern is both charted and written.
