“Lichen” is a cozy sweater knit top-down in the round, in one piece and with no seaming.
To start, the neck stitches are mounted and a narrow twisted rib border is knit. The yoke is worked in three colours using the stranded technique and is shaped by a series of increases.
The sleeves and the body are divided at the underarms and the three pieces are completed separately.
The borders of the body and the sleeves are also knit in twisted rib stitch.

The sweater is intended to be worn with approx. 4/8 cm – 1 ½ / 3 ¼ in positive ease at bust.

“Lichen” è un maglione confortevole lavorato in tondo dall’alto verso il basso senza cuciture.
Si incomincia montando le maglie del collo e si lavora un piccolo bordo a coste ritorte. Lo sprone è lavorato in tre colori usando la tecnica dei fili passati (“stranded” in inglese) ed è modellato da una serie di aumenti.
Le maniche e il corpo sono divisi all’altezza delle ascelle e i tre pezzi sono completati separatamente. Anche i bordi del corpo e delle maniche sono a coste ritorte.

Se desiderate la stessa vestibilità del modello in foto, dovrete scegliere una misura più grande di circa 4/8 cm del vostro attuale giro seno.
