YARN
Miss Babs Yowza!: 100% Superwash merino wool;
560 yds 512 m per 8 oz 227 g skein. Color: Shaken Not Stirred.
NEEDLES
US #7 4.5 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge;
40” 100 cm circular needles.
NOTIONS
4 stitch markers.
Blunt tapestry needle.
Blocking pins, if desired.
GAUGE
14 sts and 28 rows = 4” 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
Gauge is not critical for this project, but differences in gauge will affect finished measurements and required yardage.
CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This shawl is worked back and forth from the top down.

Symmetrical increases allow stockinette sections to grow on each side of a static center panel worked in garter stitch.
A garter stitch border with double yarn overs is worked at the beginning and end of each row.
