Sometimes you need a sweater that is both comfortable and a little bit special. The Leyden Top is just that - and so much more! Knit on slightly large needles in the sumptuous Northlight Fibers Atlantic yarn a soft, drapey fabric is quickly created. The dolman sleeve’s
drop-stitch pattern gives the top an interesting texture paired with a shape that’s flattering on most body types, while the barely-cropped length makes it a perfect partner for showing off your favorite skirt or jeans.

With basic knit techniques and simple shaping, the Leyden Top is perfectly suited for an adventurous beginning knitter who can knit, purl and work simple decreases.

As always, Woolyn patterns are named after long gone NYC streets and places. Leyden was the name of a short stretch of what is now 4th Avenue in Manhattan, stretching between 11th and 13th streets.
