Ley Lines contemplates convergence.

It plays with the vanishing point and the feel of looking skyward and seeing trees appear to stretch towards each other; looking to the horizon and seeing your road disappear.

Its meeting parallel lines are created with travelling slipped stitches to striking graphic effect.

Ley Lines is a V-neck seamless set-in sleeve sweater knit from the top down. The sweater is knit section by section: the top-back is knit first from shoulders to arm-holes, stitches are picked up from the shoulders to work the top front, front and back are joined to work the body in the round, stitches are picked up from the armholes and sleeve caps are shaped with short rows, sleeves are worked straight to the cuff. The pattern also plays with slipping stitches, twisting stitches, and elegant bind-offs.
