Lewton
Twisting cables spice up this snug-fitting cropped cardigan. Lewton is knit from the top down seamlessly. A large cabled panel runs down the back, and smaller offset cables decorate the fronts. The upper back is worked first and then put on hold, and the fronts are picked up from the cast-on edge and knit down with a scoop neck. The fronts and back get joined when the underarm stitches are cast on. Next, the body is knit down with waist shaping for a figure-hugging fit. After the body is completed, stitches are picked up around the armholes for the ¾-length stockinette sleeves, which are shaped using short rows. Choose a size with 1-4 in / 3-10 cm of negative ease through the bust.
The stitch pattern comes in both written and charted format.
