Lennard, the frog prince
If you’re a fan of cuddly and cute, this little fellow is a must-make! Your kids will adore him and who knows… he turns into a beautiful prince one day…
If your, like me, a fan of fairy tales and stories from your childhood, you will absolutely love this frog. Make one to decorate your child’s bedroom or to give as a gift on a baby shower.
Did you know that there are over 4700 different species of frogs? And did you know that a frog can jump up to 20 times higher than their own height?
But the most interesting is, that frogs come in all sorts of colors! So be creative and crochet your own frog in any color you like, give him dots, stripes, … anything is possible!
The finished toy is approximately 30 cm tall.
The pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner to intermediate level crocheter, but that’s only due to the technique used for the head. All other parts of the frog are to be considered suitable for a beginner. The pattern involves making a magic ring, crocheting continuously in the round and is worked through the bag loop only to create a lovely subtle ribbing.
