Lemon Drops
“Lemon Drops” is a seamless shawl knitted top-down from the central neck stitches to the edge. The shawl is shaped as a triangle.
The sample shawl in the photographs was knitted with 6 repeats of leaf pattern and after blocking
was 150 cm (59 inches) for the straight edge on the top of the shawl and 74 cm (29 inches) for the height of the shawl at the center. You can easily make it bigger or smaller by adding or taking away pattern repeats. The shawl design is modular and border pattern can be started after desired number of the body pattern repeats is knitted.
Yarn requirements: the sample shawl was knitted using 1.4 skeins or 616.0 yards (563.3m) of madelinetosh tosh merino light.
The pattern includes chart and written instructions.
Lace instructions are charted only.
