Lemon & Honey
The perfect summer hat - knitted out of an aran weight mercerized cotton which will hold its shape and not crease, making it a great one to throw in your suitcase or the bottom of your beach bag!
Hat begins at the crown, and is worked out from the center in your choice of 2 lace patterns. The body of the hat is then worked down to either a ruffled brim or a longer, slightly ruffled version.
Use your favorite aran weight yarn for a fun & fast knit for all the girls in your life.
This is an advanced beginner / intermediate pattern, you need to be able to follow a lace pattern, increase/decrease while working a pattern, and work in the round.
Finished Sizes
Girl’s Small (To fit baby sizes 0-6 months) - 16” / 41 cm circumference
Girl’s Large (This will fit a little girl up to adult women) - 21” / 53 cm circumference
(Notes on sizing: Due to the nature of the cotton yarn, this hat is fairly stretchy. The girl’s large hat will also fit a woman. Hat is meant to sit low on the forehead - if making for a small child, you may wish to do less rows on the body.)
Women’s Large (For women’s sizes 20-22”) - 21” / 53 cm circumference

(This yarn has been discontinued, though currently you can still find it, a great substitute would be Plymouth Yarns Fantasy Naturale Solid.)
