Here’s a fun pair of mittens. The mittens are worked in a garter slip stitch pattern that is as easy to knit as it is pretty. The top of the mitten is shaped in garter stitch so there is no conflict with the pattern. Now the thumb is another story. It is knitted on to the side of the mitten, using short rows. This is not hard either just a very unusual solution.
There was just enough yarn left to knit a matching head band.

Gauge 15 sts x 34 rows in garter st or Pattern = 4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm.
