Bulky sized yarn on the fluffy side works best for this hat. The small size requires 37 grams and the large requires roughly 50 grams of the called for yarn. The small size will be slouchy on children and will fit more like a beanie for teens and adults. The large size is a slouchy version for teens and adults.
