Le Cirque Cowlneck Sweater
The body worked in the round to just below the armholes, then divided for working the front and back separately. The sleeves are worked in rows.
During shaping, if there are not enough stitches to work a yarnover with its companion k2tog decrease, work the remaining stitch as k1 to avoid throwing off the stitch count.
Why a faux button placket on the back? When functionality isn’t important, a faux button placket is a nice added detail. A faux placket avoids the extra work of splitting the back into separate halves and having to finish the placket, and it can never pull or gap the way a real button placket can.
