Lazy Hiker
This is a simple and stimulating wrap to knit. Easy enough to knit at the brewery while enjoying a flight (a small pour of 4 to five different beers), with small sections of lace for a quick brain wake up. I started this while on vacation with friends in North Carolina. We happened upon a fun little brewery called the Lazy Hiker with tasty beer. There we sat and laughed and knit. I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing it, I have.
Materials
Yarn: Fingering weight 400 yards each of two contrasting colors (CC1, CC2) or 800yds total. We suggest the following yarns; Malabrigo Sock, Baah LaJolla or Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect Sock
Size 6 needles (I prefer circular needles with a 24 or 32 inch cable)
Locking stitch marker (I use this to mark the right side of my work when I get started or to mark the side that my increases/decreases are worked)
Darning needle for weaving in the ends
Eucalan or other rinse free wool wash for blocking
Notes
I used every bit of my 800 yards and there really is not a good place to stop if you run short. Please make sure you have enough to finish!
