Lavender Shawl
Inspired by beautiful lavender flowers, this top-down triangular shawl grows from individual flowers to a whole field!
The shawl begins with a garter stitch tab, followed by four increases on every right side row. The outer borders and central spine are knitted in garter stitch.
Each lavender flower motif is knitted with a twisted stitch stem and eyelet flowers emerging from two small leaves. The individual lavender motifs are offset at the start of the triangular shawl, creating an interlocking series of plants. The motifs then change to extended lines of pattern, before finishing with a garter stitch pattern cast-off border.
Main stitches used in The Lavender Shawl: kfb; k2tog; ssk; yo.
Cable stitches used in The Lavender Shawl: C2B; C2F.
