PATTERN NOTES
Lavender Frost is a cozy crochet shrug to keep you warm and cozy through any chilly day. A beautiful floral motif decorates the back and sleeves, making this a real statement piece. The subtle glimmer and soft halo of Merino Mist give this piece an ethereal quality.

This sweater back is crocheted first, beginning with the Floral Motif. The back continues until it becomes a large square. The square is then folded lengthwise, so the corners meet and are joined using a round of double crochet, forming the armholes. The edging for the collar and side bands is worked around the Back piece. The sleeve motifs are then worked and set aside. Sleeve stitches are worked in the round from the armhole opening down, then the motif is attached, and the remainder of the sleeve is worked in the round to the cuff.

The Floral Motif is both written and charted. A diagram is included to help you visualize the construction.
