I created this pattern for the magazine Das Lavendelo (The Lavender) (issue 2, March 2017). The theme was Beauties of Nature.

When thinking of nature, my mind’s eye always goes first to plants. These fingerless mitts allow you to carry flowers on your hands, so to speak, yet still look elegant. As they are created from slip stitches, they are both snuggly and stretchy.

In the 9 pages pattern, you learn with lots of step photos

• back loop only slip stitch (B)
• front loop only slip stitch (F)
• inverse back loop only slip stitch (IB)
• invisible seam for B
• assembly

yarn: Ge(h)twistet

hook: 3.75 (US size I)
