This large triangular shawl is a great project for a newer knitter. Begin at the top with a 5 stitch cast on. Increases every RS row creates the shape. Most of the shawl is knitted in stockinette stitch, ending with two bands of texture stitches- a double ridge rib and a slip stitch pattern. Finish the bottom of the shawl with a simple bind off, or with a crocheted edge. This is a basic you’ll want to wear all the time.
