You MUST be able to knit from a chart for this heirloom blanket!

This design was inspired by the pending arrival of my newest god-daughter, Lauren Marie. The optional blue edging is because I’m sure she’ll have just a bit of tomboy in her.

The swirl design starts in the center with 8 sts which are increased every other round, creating the swirl. In addition, you’ll be doing lacy crosses and hearts to add interest!

This is a light, drapey blanket … perfect for the Christening or other special occasions which can then be framed or passed to the next generation and so on! A lovely heirloom!
