Latticework Shawl
A straightforward lattice stitch, worked in a rectangle, with seed stitch borders and fringe, creates a simple stole/shawl perfect for a beginner project. Samples are shown in Manos del Uruguay and Classic Elite Bravo. You could use any yarn, in the heavy worsted to bulky range, with good results. The Manos sample in the book (pp. 128-9) uses ribbons and leftover yarn from stash to add interest to the fringe.
The smaller yardage amount is for the Bravo (bulky) yarn.
