Size is customizable, especially for length. Just knit more/less rows before beginning toe for the sock or before BO on the mitts. Circumference is harder to adjust because of the cable pattern, my suggestion would be to use one-size-smaller/larger needles if you need a different circumference for the mitt or sock since adding 10 more sts for another cable repeat is a pretty big deviance from the pattern.
