The base design is a blossom on each end with a leaf in the middle. It is written so that you can repeat the leaf section as many times as needed to get the desired length.

The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern. YouTube tutorials

Mosaic crochet uses single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting). For Interlocking Crochet
- Full chart (blossom, leaf, blossom) is 51 x 133
- Single flower is 51 x 51, designed to have one on each end
- Each leaf repeat is 51 x 40
- Finished measurements :
- Per blossom: 13” x 13” / 33cm x 33cm
- Per leaf: 13” x 10” / 33cm x 25cm

• 5 mm hook H-8
• Worsted weight yarn
• Per flower (base design has 2)
  • Main Color (MC) (black on chart) – 100 yards
  • Accent Color (AC) (white on chart) – 100 yards
• Per leaf (repeat as many times as needed)
  • Main Color (MC) (blue on chart) – 80 yards
  • Accent Color (AC) (pink on chart) – 80 yards
• Plus, optional border: 50+ yards
• Gauge: 8 (dc, ch) x 8 rows = 4”

For Overlay Mosaic Crochet

• Chart is 125 x 45, repeat section is 37 x 45
• Base size (2 flowers and a leaf) is 33” x 13” / 85cm x 33cm
  • each additional leaf adds 10” / 25cm in length, the width remains 13” / 33cm
• 5 mm hook (H-8)
• Base size: worsted weight yarn (730 yards total)
  • Main color (MC) / design – 330 yards
  • Contrasting color (CC) / background – 400 yards
• Each additional leaf requires
  • MC – 100 yards
  • CC – 130 yards
• Gauge: 14 sc x 15 rows = 4”
